Danbury Township is governed by a non-partisan board of three Trustees and one Fiscal Officer, all of whom are elected for a four-year term. The board meets in public session on the second and fourth Wednesday each month at 7:00 p.m. on the first floor of Township Hall.
Their areas of responsibility include roads, parks, cemeteries, fire and police departments, zoning, fiscal management, budgets and maintenance of public records.

Shelley Seamon
Shelley was elected to the position of Fiscal Officer in November 2009. She is a lifelong resident of Danbury Township and graduated from Danbury High School in 1982. She graduated from Terra Technical College in 1984 with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She and her husband Matt have two children, Tiffany and Matthew. They are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church where Shelley serves on the Altar Guild. Shelley has worked in the accounting field in the business sector for seventeen years. She enjoys doing things with her family and friends.

Charles B. Scott
After serving the residents of Danbury Township for the past 12 years as an elected member of the Danbury Local School District Board of Education, Charles was elected as a Township Trustee with the term beginning January 1st, 2010. He is a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1981. Mr. Scott also attended Terra Community College and Sandusky Business College. For the past 25 years he has been employed with the United States Postal Service. Charles is an involved member of the community and an active member, past council member and president of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. He was a founding member and past officer of the Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society. Mr. Scott has had a long standing commitment to the youth of the township. His involvement with the Peninsula Youth Athletic League began as an assistant coach and included every office in the league. Currently, Charles and his wife Ruth are advisers for the Danbury 4-H club, "Firelands Firecrackers". Mr. Scott also serves on the Ottawa County Jr. Fair sale committee.
Charles's wife Ruth is a registered nurse at Magruder Hospital. They have three daughters, Cassondra, Hannah and Morgan.
The goals Mr. Scott has for the township are similar to those of his fellow trustees: financial responsibility, responsible development and development and retention of township services. His ultimate goal and personal belief is "Public Trust of Public Servants".

Dianne Rozak
Dianne began her tenure as Township Trustee in January 1996. Her background includes an Associate Degree in Management from John Carroll University in Cleveland. She was a Director of Human Resources and Training for a nationwide specialty retailer in Cleveland. In addition, she has held various marketing positions in the specialty food industry, owned a catering business and has been very involved in community activities. She has served in the capacity of President for the Wide World Shop Board of Directors, The Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Ottawa County Regional Planning Commission and Ottawa County Township Association. She is a past member of the board of Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community. Currently, Dianne is a board member of the Ottawa County Visitors Bureau and the Area Heritage Foundation. Dianne produces the Township newsletter, writes "Focus on Danbury Township" newspaper articles, maintains the website and provides annual radio addresses to update residents on Township business. She and her husband, Dan Thompson, are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Dianne is the Naturalist at the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park and her goals for the Township include continued citizen involvement, controlled development and public awareness of Township business.
